No certificates, no ZXP wrestling, no admin rights. For real.
Double-click install.bat
That's it. It registers the panel for your user — no admin needed.
Restart After Effects
Open it from Window > Extensions > TikTalk.
Download the engine
On first launch click Download engine in the panel — it fetches whisper + ffmpeg + a language model (~250 MB, once).
Prefer a .zxp? Run setup\build_zxp.ps1 to build a self-signed dist\TikTalk.zxp and install it with any ZXP installer.
How it works
Transcribe
Select your audio/video layer and hit Transcribe. Word timings get snapped to the actual waveform.
Edit & style
The transcript is fully editable. Pick any font with the live-preview picker, set colors, stroke, position, reveal mode.
Generate Titles
One click → animated caption layers, auto-centered and auto-shrunk to stay in frame.
